A good place to eat in Squamish

Regular pub/bar fare. Good portions for the salad, burger and fries. Would love to try more beers. Service is a bit slow, but can't blame them for only having one waitress to serve all 5 tables on a Saturday lunch hour. Something to try out if you stop in Squamish and have a entertainment book coupon. Beats going to McDonald's all the time. =)

Sunday night, dinner time, Victoria Day long weekend. The place is all but dead for a tourist town on a long weekend. And it's an INN. I had the lamb burger *$9.00 special. It took a half hour to get was cold and the dry. Sure lamb is hard to cook as it lacks fat but you can compensate for this buy not over cooking it and adding more rosemary mayo. And the tomato slice was tiny whilst the iceberg lettuce (now who puts berg lettuce on lamb burgers. was wilty as it must have been sitting there for a while and all the heat that was suppose to be in the burger went through the lettuce.
The service was inconsistent and with the lack of people it was “WHY?” The only thing that was good were the fries and the view.
I asked around town before I went here “where is the best burger in town?” No one mentioned this place. Now I know why.

Beautiful views, horrific service

This marks the first time I have ever not left a tip in a restaurant. The food was not bad, but the service set a new standard for awful. The restaurant was half full, and there were several servers on, and yet 30 minutes after arriving we had to stand up, wave our arms, and literally shout at a waitress to get menus. Among the cluster of 5 tables around us, every one of them recieved at least one wrong component to their meal. It took us almost 2 hours to order, eat, and pay for 3 burgers and beers - and though we came in wanting a few beers, nobody asked as for a refill, and we left the bar - odd for a brewpub! I would not advise you to come here.

After hearing so much in the past about this restaurant, and travelling through the area with friends from out of country I thought we should seek it out. Food when we finally got it was good, but only after seeing other tables who sat and ordered long after us get their entree's we had to ask. Now we only ordered several items from the appy menu, and I'm glad thats all. The server decided to sit with her friends at another table telling them all about her 'sad' birthday party the night before. and then explaining to us that she was having a bad night and thats why the food was taking so long.(more like she forgot to order it, it was only appys, being I know the industry, they should not take longer than entree's)) The reason we ordered appy's was we wanted to be quick, not to be forgotten, and then cried to about how bad her birthday party was the previuos night. Its the service industry, not a counselling service, god, leave it at home.
Great view, may not be able to go back unless I'm only drinkin, that way I can self serve myself

Food was sunsatnatial in portions and tasted good though only luke warm when we did finally get it.
so you are warned, may or may not be good??!!
