Disappointed, overpriced

We had a family get together on February 17th. Five adults and two children under five. We ordered two children's meals at $10 each plus numerous other adult menu items .... platter, appies, one entree, salad, etc. I was told I could use coupons when I made my reservation. The total bill was $179.75. I asked if I could use one of the coupons for the childrens two meals, which would have meant a $5.00 saving. Big deal! Anyway, the manager told me "no" since they don't make any money on children's meals. Good grief, the children's meals were a hamburger and macaroni. The food service seemed slow, however we were enjoying a family visit, so this was not an issue. Food was definitely not anything other then mediocore. The location is good. Victoria foodies will definitely give this restaurant a hands down.

Seriously? You're serving uncooked beans?

This restaurant is wildly overpriced for the quality of food. They served me uncooked (crunchy) baked beans and when I told the waitress she actually knew about it. Did she think I wouldn't notice as I crunched my way through my meal?

Lack of attention - careless sloppy food that makes you feel like you're eating somebody's leftovers and staff that could careless.

Save your money - go to PIG where the food is excellent and the staff actually give a care.

"Hot" night out

The pulled pork and beef brisket were both smothered in the same overly "smoky" BBQ sauce. It was impossible to determine a taste difference between the two due to the overpowering sauce. Only the different texture of the two meats indicated that I was eating one or the other when they were served on the same plate. Not something that I will be in a rush to re-experience

THe food is very, very good Southern BBQ, plus veggie and seafood items for
the non-carnivores. The service and ambiance are also very good and the price is right for
lunch, which we've had twice. THe above said everything I wanted to say but
this site strangely insists on 300 characters. Highly recommended.
