I was strolling around kerrisdale, and wanted to grab a bite to go on my way to a friends house and arrived here.

First, I didn't know what to choose, because all their sandwiches sold out except the ham and cheese, and I didn't want that....but the lady told me she could make a new one for me! except for the chicken panini cause they were out of panini bread. I wanted the panini, but chose to have tuna salad. I thought that was very nice of her to make a new one for me. As I was waiting for the sandwich, the man asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I looked at their drink menu and wanted to try out the iced matcha latte. He even asked me which matcha powder I wanted (either the semi-sweet or sweet) and was very nice. The latte was cold and delicious, but a bit too much ice.....which meant that the 5 bucks I spent on that latte probably consisted of 30% ice...but it was still good.

Overall for a half sandwich and a "grande-sized" matcha latte....was around 7.50. Not bad since matcha is pretty pricey in other places as well. I'd definitely go there and try some of their sandwiches! They also had grounds for coffee cinnamon buns and a wide variety of teas as well.

The cappuccinos have been consistently good, and the lady behind the counter is super nice. The sandwiches aren't bad, either. The front patio is a great place to sit and people watch, read the paper, or chat with friends on a sunny day. (It's cozy inside on rainy days, too.) Definitely one of my favourite cafes to visit.

I decided to pop into this little cafe one day for lunch because I needed internet access. The food and service was great and I've been going there pretty often lately. The lady at the counter (or whoever is working there) is always very nice and super attentive. The cafe has quite a selection of sandwiches and baked goods. I've tried quite a few of their sandwiches and they're all really good... especially the smoked salmon one! They grill the sandwiches if you like them hot and they serve it with a small piece of fruit. I havn't tried any of their drinks yet but I've been told that their smoothies are amazing. If you're in the area looking for a nice cozy area to eat and relax, this cafe's great!
