I love this place!!

I work just a couple of minutes away, and as a vegan, this place is my saving grace.

The food is outstanding, and the owners Ingrid and Ras are the nicest, most pleasant people you could hope to encounter. My only negative is that they are located in a mall, so I gave 3 stars for the ambiance, but it actually has nothing to do with the restaurant itself. Truth to be told, they should have their own, bigger restaurant outside of a mall! I can just imagine a full menu of the kind of foods they make, and I would be their first customer.

The food - it is literally to die for. I just finished an order of their marinated tofu with hot, soft zuchini slices on top, marinated in something that I believe is braggs sauce, with garlic....oh man. Melt in your mouth.

Their stews and soups are the best - packed with veg and beans, lentils, and flavour! I've been dreaming about some pickled soup/stew I had a while back. The flavour just burst in my mouth. I'll have to request that they make it soon.

I also constantly daydream about their sandwiches - roasted pepper and eggplant with pecans, tofu and tomato, cucumber and avocado...all served on rye bread - so simple and yet so packed with flavour. I've tried several times to duplicate them at home, but I have no idea what the secret is. And I don't care. I am more than willing to go to the experts instead and let them take care of it.

The casseroles, the cookies...oh, and some curried yam salad thing that Ingrid made up a while back! Forgot about that. I'll have to start making a list of my requests for them. All delicious and worth a visit. Check em out!

This place always has a nice selection of fresh hot veggie dishes. Lentil stew is yum. They serve generous portions for a cheap and very affordable lunch that will actually leave you feeling full. One of my favorite places for lunch out of all the fast food choices at City Square.

I love Everybody Loves Veggies and wish it were closer and more conveniently located! They serve a lot of deli-type dishes (quinoa salads, for example) but are much more conscious with the ingredients used (they list them, for example).

It's fresh and adequately priced, and they're willing to let you have a try if you're unsure whether or not to pay full for the food item.

This is a over-the-counter service so don't expect much outside of that! Still, some of the employees have been very sweet and helpful in selecting vegetarian options and are very knowledgeable about the foods prepared!

So Tasty and Healthy

I work nearby and eat here a few times a week.

Its a take-out kiosk in an awful mall, open only from 10-6pm. However, the food is delicious, healthy vegan fare and is very reasonably priced. The menu usually consists of a soup, several stews and casseroles, along with salads and sandwiches. They even carry vegan cheesecake.

The owners are so nice and caring; I just wished they were open longer or in a more desirable location.

I love it here. I used to work in the neighborhood and ate there all the time. The couple that owns it is great, and they offer many gluten free, vegan dishes. Geat place, but too bad it is in that weird mall. Lot's of blanche macdonald students walking around looking like Ashley Simpson and Avril Lavigne.
