First of all, EatsFats, I'm assuming that you started this restaurant's new tab... Are you crazy? Corner 23's location is not part of East Van.

The food there was okay, I don't think that I ordered the right stuff though (or else it might have been better) You should try out the house special fried noodles and the oyster pancake, both were really good. The waiters there were super friendly and the decoration was really clean and crisp. HOWEVER, you will not be able to have a proper conversation going on at your table due to those obnoxiously loud blenders they use to make the drinks!

Oh, and if you're REALLY picky about parking, you will have to walk a little bit (like a block or 2) to get to the restaurant, since parking behind the place is limited.

I'll definitely give this place a try again.

Once a week

My wife and I go to Corner23 at least once a week, it's practically our second kitchen. The staff knows us now and can even order our food, they're pretty friendly even though there are a few servers here and there who don't speak English very well which is fine for my wife but sometimes I have to point at things.

The food is really good, my wife says it is very authentic Taiwanese cuisine and she loves it there and I really like whatever I have too. Also the drinks (or bubble-tea) are really good, the fresh fruit ones are really delicious and better than the fruit smoothies you would get at North American establishments like Jugo Juice or Orange Julius, etc.

The only bad thing about Corner 23 is parking, but that will be better once the Cambie construction is done. This place is BUSY on weekends and even weeknights, be prepared for a 15-20 minute wait for a larger table!
