Great bakery & cafe

I came here for lunch with my father, we ordered 2 sandwiches and had half of each.
CHEESE SCONE with Porchetta & Smoked Cheddar - This was good, a bit heavy on the bread part but still tasty.
BRIOCHE with Duck Prosciutto, Rillette Mayo, Red Oak Lettuce, Candied Walnuts & Apple - This was great, a lot of flavor here.
They have a water station on the side with fresh lemon water :) After the sandwiches I had a cappuccino with a peanut butter sandwich cookie. The cap was good, the dessert was very sweet. I loved the outer cookie but the center peanut butter spread was too buttery for me.

Overall this is a great little bakery/cafe. Everything here is high quality and the staff were very professional and friendly. I will return next time I'm in the area to try some other baked goods.

Pain au chocolate......

Wow! Flakiest croissants ever and just so rich and tasty. The pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) is to die for. Layer upon layer upon layer of beautiful pastry and butter and a gloriously generous centre of yummy chocolate. Add in a lovely coffee and it's an afternoon treat to be remembered. Hubby loves loves loves the peanut butter cookies and I also have a soft sport for the marcona almond bar and the caramel eclaire. The owner takes so much care in all her product and you can taste the effort she and her staff put into all their treats. A small little place but very charming. Hard to get a table on a sunny day but well worth the visit anytime. Always service with a smile and a welcoming greeting when you arrive. Would I go back... have many time and will again many more. Love the croissants!

AMAZING pastries and fantastic service

I've been to Beaucoup a couple of times now and both times were fantastic!

It is right by the place I take my daughter swimming so we stopped in afterwards so I could grab a coffee. I had her in the stroller and as soon as I opened the door I saw the 3 interior steps which presented a bit of a problem with the stroller. I was considering leaving it outside but it was raining and there was no awning. As I was deciding what to do a woman showed up and insisted on helping me carry the stroller up the stairs, it was great! It became apparent that she was the manager or owner and she continued to tell me anytime I needed help all I had to do was open the door and call out for help and someone would come and assist me. She even offered to let me store it in their loading dock area if I wanted. I thought she went above and beyond and it made us feel super welcome...I almost felt bad I was just getting something to go.

Anyways on to the food. I ordered and americano and 2 croissants, the americano was really tasty. Nice crema and rich flavour. The standout was most definitely the croissant - it was ridiculously flaky and light and buttery. It was so good that I ended up eating the 2nd one too which I had bought for my hubby. The 2nd time I went I tried the pain au chocolat and it did not disappoint. Their pastry chef knows what they are doing and I have a feeling that nothing on the menu with fall into the mediocre category.

I'm a big fan of this bakery and will make it one of my regular spots for sure!

Chocolate Almond Croissants To Die For

Wonderful pastries. Expensive but obviously quality ingredients cost more. Only gripe is the last time I was there only one guy was working the counter while two other employees (a girl with glasses and another guy) were crouched down behind the counter on the left, in full sight of everyone, engaged in a private conversation. They never bothered to get up and help out even though people were waiting to be served. Might be a better policy, while on a break, to take it in the back of the shop or outside rather than to just sit there and ignore waiting customers.
