Absolutely Worst Experience Ever

Food: was ok but nothing special. Portions are large so you won't leave hungry, but the flavour just wasn't there.

Service: absolutely atrocious. They screwed up my order and when it finally came, my friends were already half-done eating. I spoke to the manager and he was rude, argumentative, and to top it off, threatening. His exact words were "I can wait for you all night" which I will leave to your own interpretation. I have never, ever in my 40 years on this planet, been spoken to by the manager of a restaurant in that manner under any circumstance. I was completely and utterly dumbfounded. They have no business running a restaurant in a city like Toronto with customer service like that. The chef even stared at me the entire time from table to doorway, as if he wanted to pick a fight with me. It made me feel uncomfortable to say the least. Don't go here for any reason unless you enjoy verbal abuse and harassment when you make it known to their management that your experience is less than exemplary.

Value: considering how my order was handled, when it came time for the bill, they didn't comp the meal and had the audacity to include a 12% tip. The tip was eventually removed but ever so reluctantly.

Ambiance: considering the verbal (and very audible) tongue-lashing I received by their manager and chef, I would say that this place has very little ambiance. I feel bad for the other patrons in the restaurant at the time. There are at least 6 other sushi restaurants within a stone's throw from this place so if you are in the area, I recommend any one of them over this place.
