Serving fresh sushi, sashimi, rolls and other Japanese fare.
Today, I visited Sushi Train for the second time. The restaurant has both Japanese and Korean food. I tried their Udon from their Korean menu for $5.99 + tax + tip. I found it to be very good - had the right amount of flavor without being loaded with too much MSG. The waitresses always come around to check on your tea and I appreciated the fact that I did not have to call on them for that!
is now entering mediocrity. I've been a regular the past few years and have recently noticed that the food quality has greatly decreased.
The sushi used to contain excellent (imitation) crab meat, the meat is very stringy and dry now. The volcano rolls were my favorite as they contained real salmon sashimi on the top, however, they have recently started using tuna which has really altered the taste. Unfortunately they removed all the meat (beef, chicken and pork) selections which were very good...The place still serves some good sushi (order the boston and crispy rolls), however it is rather pricy nowadays. The servers are all very nice people however that location is just too overcrowded all the time and waits to enter can range anywhere of 20-40min.
Very good sushi, friendly Korean owners and staff.
This time tried the Sushi & Sashimi Combo @ $13.99 "Awesome" 3 pcs each tuna and salmon sashimi melted in my mouth. Also came with a California roll,2 salmon,2 tuna and 2 Tai nagiri pieces .We also ordered Gyoza. Could not eat all the sashimi alone and shared with my son as they are large, also shared the gyoza 3 pcs each.
My son ordered the Nigiri Sushi Combo @ $7.99, he enjoyed all 8 pieces. Very attentive server as green tea cup was constantly filled. Street parking sucks but was informed that there is parking underground. Will definitely return.
This place is right under some condos. small place but clean and has good selections. this resturant is good for sushi rolls, sashimi, cones, and part trays. they dont have a wide varity of hot foods like dishes and boxes, but this place is definitely well worth your money with there quality foods and the quantity. good place give it a try.!
