Ricky's is a family friendly spot offering a varied menu of casual classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I brought my family here for breakfast and almost had a heart attack when the waitress almost dropped a bunch of plates on my infant son's head. Accidents can happen but when she came back to take our money with a hot coffee pot and didn't realize that it was tipping over his head I was less sympathetic. Oh well, I guess all the "excitement" made me forget that she also got our order wrong and that the food was lukewarm at best.
My family decided to go to Rickys for dinner last week. What a mistake? had to ask for cutlery/ plates ."The special menu" hm Prawns wrapped in procuitto topped with a cream garlic .This is what the menu stipulated? We counted 2 prawns that were wrapped in ham lunch meat.? then prawns were wrapped in noodles Nothing like the menu described $19. Explained to the waitress that it was lunch meat and only two prawns I shouldnt be charged for this, nothing was done. Our meal was very late as there was a mishap in the kitchen the waitress dropped our food. We could hear the cooks speaking out loud. The small pizza was $17 and terrible too.A meal for 3 no alcohol over $70 at Ricky`s.
Couple of months ago, my dad saw an ad for a 10 dollar steak sandwich in The Province newspaper which looked great in the picture. My parents and I decided to check it out for dinner since none of us have been before. What a bad move! Food: I ordered a big breakfast that had a lot of food but all it was was bland eggs and lunch meat with boring boiled then fried potatoes. My mom had the worst souvlaki on Earth. It wasn't even Greek. It was just dark, seasoningless, boiled chicken thigh meat with botched rice and steamed broccoli. NO Greek salad. Whoever put this on the menu needs to be smacked by the Greeks. My dad's sandwich looked nothing like the ad and was a small steak on a half bun with a bit of fries. Nothing else. Service: Was barely around and had the nerve to cut me off twice to talk to a coworker in the middle of me ordering. Biotch. Value: Piss poor indeed. My breakfast was 14 bucks. My mom's unGreek souvlaki was 11 bucks and my dad's sandwich was 10 bucks. WRONG!!!!! It was 16.99! Never again!
