Richmond Sushi is best known for its all you can eat menu. All you can eat bargains to be had after 11am during lunch and late night after 9:30pm.
This place is always busy and the all you can eat dinner is worth it b/c the beef sashimi is delicious. But the late night all you can eat is just as good and i don't find that the quality goes down at all for late night sushi like most places.
This place is always good and i've never been disappointed. At lot of other all you can eat restaurants aren't even half as good as Richmond Sushi and they charge the same.
The service is awesome... they're so quick and the food comes in no time. So if you're hungry then this is the place to go.
Richmond Sushi used to be Richmonds finest all you can eat Japanese Restaurant. My God how times change. The food no longer can cut it and price has gone to a major inflation. Quality goes down while the price goes up. The service is decent at most. Food comes out quick as they slam out dishes onto the table and leave. Waitresses and managers just don't care. I will make the appearance back but I won't come as much as I used to.
Richmond Sushi is definitely a decent all you can eat restaurant. Food is what you expect for 13.95, and service is decent too. Some of the manager's are amazingly friendly! Service was decent as well. You just have to make sure you flag the servers down to order more, as they can get pretty busy with the amount of customers. If you're looking for a cheap AYCE sushi restaurant, definitely check out Richmond Sushi.
I still come here once in awhile. Richmond Sushi seems like has been in Richmond forever already. This restaurant doesn't have much style but the food can be quite solid. The service is decent at best. Its still good for a quick bite every once in awhile but certainly not my favourite in Richmond. It actually scared me to see a $30 dinner menu which wasn't even much more different than the cheaper ones. The lady says it has more Sashimi but its nothing special. I have other places I would prefer to go to at $30 per person.
This is my usual hangover since I love Japanese all you can eat so much. The food here is decent for the price but don't expect too much. The service is very mediocre. I would recommend this place over sui sha ya but would recommend the new Ninkazu restaurant more.
This is by far the best quality all you can eat sushi in Richmond. Very good and fresh, more expensive than most, but worth every penny. Good place for work lunches, and they have private rooms too. Ambiance is not their strong point, but they are clean and well lit.
Been there many times and I love this restaurant.
(1) Service is fast and fair, the severs don't talk too much but friendly enough.
(2) They are NOT stingy like some other all-u-can eat Japanese restaurants when they give you your orders. They are always in big portions.
(3) Raw fish are VERY FRESH! and it's a MUST for a Japanese restaurant since you eat them raw.
Highly recommended!!
The food was exceptionally poor. It was cold and greasy and even though I ordered ala carte, I got really low quality food reminiscent of bad all you can eat. The staff are really pushy about ordering all you can eat too. I had to ask them three times for an ala carte menu, as if such a thing didn't even exist.
Richmond Sushi is probably the best pound for pound AYCE sushi place in Town. The standard dinner menu is not bad, but if you want to splurge the Deluxe menu is REALLY "rice." Raw oysters, steak, lamb chops, tempura, sashimi and the list goes on and on. Oyster and seafood motayaki's are really nice, but I've been in a party of 4 and gone through 4-dozen raw oysters cuz they are fresh and usually very plump. The mango pudding is good, but the redbean spring rolls are even better! If you want a friendly smile and kiss-ass service go to Dedutch for some Pannekoeken. These PDA-armed waiters and waitresses serve the resturant with an efficiency unseen anywhere outside of Nike factories in China.
Hey, Richmond Sushi is a great feast. Staff is friendly. The service is inconsistent though. If you order 18 Sashimi you might get 12, they often miss items ordered. BUT...they always end up getting the items after a fee reminders. They recently went to a PDA ordering system and the service is getting a bit better. Still miss items ordered...which is somewhat annoying. They are more expensive than Kisha Poppo downtown and do NOT include Green Tea ice cream. For the price they charge they should include ice cream. The food is good though...so go if you're hungry!!
