This is a good option when you're craving korean food at the food court. I have tried several different items and enjoy the pancheon and mandu's the most. Prices are lower than sit down korean restaurants.

I haven't really been impressed by their combo meals though and I do miss the banchans.

Good Choice in Aberdeen Center

Usually go there for their Beef bone/short rib soup and it's always delicious! Not to mention a great deal too!

The soup is definitely of a special kind, and special in the sense that it doesn't seem to contain any MSG(!). No matter how much of it I consume everytime I rarely feel thirsty afterwards. Taste-wise it's just right and not too salty. Even though it's a soup entree it does come with 2 side dishes (just like all Korean restaurants) that you can pick from and choices include bean sprouts, daikon, and of course, kimchi. They are all home-made and taste authentic. And that's not all! You also get a bowl of rice AND some clear noodles in the soup. So altogether for how much? $6.25 including tax. Now that's something most people will call a steal.

Haven't really try out their other offerings cos the above is of such good value. But I definitely plan to though... eventually.

More Than I Could Handle
By Mak Man of Richmond , BC (9 Reviews)

I ordered the set combo no.1, which is the Beef ribs combo. The set came with rice, along with sides such as potatoes, kimchi, bean sprouts, and deep fried dumpling. On top of that, the number of beef ribs they give is astonishing. I could barely finish all of it, and I'm a big eater. In terms of portion and value, they are great.

As for food quality, it can still improve. The beef ribs are way too salty, the sauce makes it impossible to eat. I ate a few pieces then I couldn't take it anymore. I can take salty more than most people I know, but even I couldn't handle it this time. It was the first time I had to wash a piece of meat off with water to make it edible. The sides were good, nothing extraordinary, just good.

The service is great, the lady at the counter was very friendly and always smiling. Good experience, I would come back again, hopefully they toned the sauce back a little.
