That's my first impression, meh. I've been to couple Thai restaurants, but this one has the most 'basic' taste to all. What I mean by that is, Thai food is usually served with rich taste, whether it is spice or sweet. Sticky Rice does not have that side to their dishes. It's good for first timers to Thai food, but if you know a thing or two about Thai food, I suggest another place.
ps. Please do not get the Thai Ice Tea. It is NOT GOOD.
Quality of the food is not bad, as the freshness of food is kept well. The restaurant is fairly small and kept inside, thus making the restaurant a nice place to have a small, quiet dinner with someone or with a small party. All the special rolls are very good.
The food is great. The way they make their potatoes is amazing! It is one of the best I ever had. Apparently the place has great ribs, but I haven't gotten a chance for that yet. All brunch menues are excellent.
The parking is an absolute nightmare. Best of luck to ya.
I understand all bubbletea places will be loud, but this one is a mess. I suggest a take-out. And remember, it is owned by Chinese, thus you will need to bring cash!
ps. They will not allow you to play any games inside, such as cards or anything along that line.
Please do not be tricked. This place is not what it used to be. With the previous owner, this place was easily one of the best in town, but with the new owner, the place is an absolute crap. Not only the service is crap, the food itself is a mess. The sushi chef is unclean and indifferent about the food.
If you absolutely need sushi and you cannot leave the Guildford area, go to another one right across the street.
