No complaints at all about this restaurant. Great service - we were checked up often by the waiters and water glasses were constantly being refilled without being asked. The food was some of the best Indian I've had (lamb masala, aloo gobi, butter chicken) though a little pricey for Indian food (~$14 per dish); each dish was just enough for 4 people to each get a portion.

I came here on Dec.29th, 2008 with my boyfriend and I was very satisfied when I left. After hearing about how entrees start at $50 and do not include veggies, I was prepared that it was not going to be a cheap night. What I didn't expect, however, was leaving full, with a doggie bag, and knowing that I will be back.

Our server was very good at explaining the opening presentation us, being our first time here, and making us feel comfortable. We even asked him how we should use eat the loaf of bread (use your knife to cut AND butter - you'll get a new knife later).

Food we ordered was:

Porterhouse steak - "charr" means a thorough burn on the surface of the steak and not just grill marks, but the steak was done medium as requested

Wild salmon, medium rare as requested - absolutely delicious.

Brocolli side - got two whole brocolli crowns with Hollandaise sauce; it was good, but pricey for $11.

Green beans - sauteed in garlic, it was also delicious.

Chocolate-raspberry souffle - this had to be ordered 1/2 an hour in advance and cost $18, but it was huge, had risen up very nicely. With whipped cream, it was quite sweet, but good.

We had excellent service - we had our waiter check on us quite a few times, as well as the waiter from the other section AND the dining room host. The ambience was very nice, not too dark or loud. With drinks, our total bill was $200. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a celebratory place to go, unless you can afford to go more often!
