not too good, not too bad

I have no comment about their bubble tea because I don't like that kind of drink. But I've been there several times for their food, especially the deep fried fish meal special. It's good deal spending few dollars to get a good portion of the delicious food: 3 large pieces of fried fish, a small appetizer and one bowl of rice.

The taste of fried fish was really good, coating batter so crispy and fish meat so soft and fresh. I belive it's second to none in town. There was nothing to challenge about except no dip sauce for the fried stuff.

The cashier challenged the tips I paid.

This restaurant is located on the upper floor of the mall. Its exterior decoration is not so bad and interior design also make me think this one should be the higher class dining place. But after I've paid the bill, the cashier gave me a poker face related to tips she received not in her expectation. Totally break my first impression. So this place turned out to be the worst dining experience I've ever had.

The food in this restaurant taste was so so, The dim-sum dishes were not so hot. They seemed to be cooked already and stayed outside for a long time. The quality of the food was below average,
the colors of them were not so good.

The service peope with no smiling faces gave me the bad impression. Once I asked one of them about the dessert cake, he answered they didn't make these kinds of food here and left too
rush with not so friendly look.

Ambiance didn't have any special to talk about, just so noisy and cramped.

This is one of the regular dim-sum eating places, but I really can not accept such a cashier said something bad about the tips I paid. She should know the rule of customers are always right. I always pay more tips to the restaurants with above average service and food. If not, I reduce my tips because they don't deserve that much. I believe it's fair enough.
