Mint, The1414 Douglas St., Victoria
Great Food
Submitted Tuesday, January 2, 2007 - 2:00am [Dine in]

I have been to The Mint on a number of occasions and have had great food. My last visit was the same. I ordered the Lamb Curry was was blown away by the incredible taste and perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth cubes of lamb. I love the spicy peanuts but have been disappointed the last couple of times I was there are they were cold when I got them and they are supposed to be warm. If you haven't tried the Momo's you must. The drinks are tasty but are on the weak side. If you or anyone you go for dinner with doesn't like hot spicy food, be forewarned that many of the dishes are spicy...I love it! Great atmosphere and highly recommended.

Guru Korean Bar & Grill1015 Fort Street, Victoria
Good Korean Food

Guru does a really decent job of preparing Korean food. They do tone down the spiciness of their dishes to cater to the general public. The Jap Chea noodle dish is delicious, the Bip Bam Bop is also delicious. Try the steamed pork dumplings as well. It is a bit over priced but worth the money.

Great Atmosphere

Canoe Brew Pub has great atmosphere. The food is quite good and nicely plated but over priced for what you get. Good quality food. It is a great place to meet for dinner and drinks or for a nice lunch although service can be slow.
