Ichiro Japanese Restaurant12011 2nd Avenue, #110, Richmond

I've eaten at almost every sushi restaurant in Richmond and this on has to be the best. Has everything you would expect in a Sushi restaurant but is done with real style. Dishes are wonderfully presented, and you can taste the freshness.

Whenever I can I eat alone at the sushi bar. It quite the enterainment for me to watch the chefs do their magic. They usually give me a sample or two as well which I think is a fantastic touch.

The only bad thing about this restaurant like so many other Japenese restaurants is its closed on mondays.

I have been eating Steveston pizza qite regulraly for the last year or so and I couldn't agree more with the opinons of everyone elso on the page. Simply the best pizza in town. Fresh ingredients combined with originality come together to make one fine pizza. If there was such thing as fine dining pizza take out, this would be it. I don't know the owners name but he is always freindly and makes a point of personally thanking you for your business. You won't be dissapointed.

Steveston Seafood House3951 Moncton Street, Richmond
Best dinner in a while
Submitted Thursday, May 1, 2008 - 6:59pm [Dine in]

It had been over 5 years since my wife and I had dined at the Steveston Seafood House and I just had to write a review as our night was fantastic from start to finish.

We started by sharing the cocont prawns and scallops, which were simple and delicious. Although we were at a seafood restaurant I decided to go with the Osso Bucco. What a treat! The meat just fell away from the bone and melted in my mouth. My wife had the blackened halibut, and in her words was "cooked to perfection." Our waiter, who was professional and attentive overheard it was our 20th anniversary and as we declined to have dessert he brought us two glasses of desert wine which were "on the house."

Prior to us leaving the chef came out and asked how everything was and made a few jokes with our waiter. A very nice touch.

We ate on a Saturday night and the restaurant was half full but the noise was kept to a minimum. I strongly encourage everyone to give this old classic a try. You won't be dissapointed.
