I am a frequent customer to this restaurant, and find it a fairly good restaurant to come and eat at.

I mean, it's not like they serve very impressive food. They buy packages of ramen noodles that COME with a soup base...make it..add on corn, bamboo, meat, green onions and serve.

If you are too lazy to cook your own..basically too lazy to cook your own instant noodles, they come here. I'm not saying it tastes bad, it's good. It does take a long time for them to cook though. But like I said, you're paying for them to cook you instant noodles.

This restaurant RUNS on the money they get from the hungry students of the highschool across the street of them!

The quality is unimpressive. This is NOT how Japanese food should be represented. Breaking sushi and not fresh fish?!-Disappointing. I am Japanese, and places like this, are just disgraceful. I am open to new twists on Japanese food, but when the restaurant cannot even make it ORIGINAL correctly...well...it says a lot.

I was appalled when I ordered the california roll and it was the size of my FIST! Really, this restaurant is only for those highschool students that want a quick, cheap lunch that will fill the stomache and that's about it folks!

I've been here a few times and find it to me a fairly good restaurant to go to. I think the location is great as it is in a bit of a plaza. The food here is great! Although I wasn't too impressed with their dumplings, as it wasn't too impressive. - Seemed like it was home-made..and the wrapper was too thick against it's lack on content inside.

Other than that, the food is good. The service is good. The atmosphere is good. All good. Not a whole lot you can be disappointed about. An overall fairly good place to go! I agree with the last review of having it open later.

I've been to this restaurant on countless occasions, and have yet to be disappointed.

I am Japanese, and for a restaurant Korean-owned, I have to give props to them! The food is great! I say this because I've been to some restaurants, that seem like they tried to mimic the same taste in other restaurants, but fail. And the quality is just disappointing. Akari is a great with their food! Their service in the beginning was alright, but they have hired some new staff that are quite impressive and full of energy!

I went there on one occasion for my mother's birthday, and wanted to surprise her with a dessert! I had left the table and ordered the dessert at the front desk to the lady. Shortly after I sat back at my table, the lady came back with a bowl of raspberry-white chocolate icecream with a sparkler candle on top! I was truly impressed with how far they went!!

I have no regrets coming to this restaurant, and will continue to be a frequent customer! =)

Absolutely amazing.

It was my first time at this restaurant, and it was one to truly remember! The elevator ride up to the restaurant itself was breathe-taking!

I have to admit, at first, the moving floor took a while to get use to. I'm not that type to get any type of motion sickness, but I was surprised to feel a bit off. Though, after a while, I got use to it. The service was great! Although, I didn't like the conversation I overheard between two employees...as they were wanting/waiting to "get off" their shift. Otherwise it was great!

The food was amazing! Although, I do believe the drinks were a bit overpriced...$5.00 for a glass of coke that had not free refill?! Otherwise, I would say the food was well-priced. I ate the chicken breast, while my friend at the steak. The steak was tender and juicy, and the chicken breast was NOT dry, and just mouth-watering! We also tried the lobster salad and the cream of mushroom soup, both delicious! We were both very full and couldn't even fit dessert!!

I loved the atmosphere, it was cozy and calming. When I went, there were many couples. This certainly isn't a place for young children.

I can truly say, you will NOT regret every going here.

I've been to this restaurant on countless occasions. And the three things that never change here is the great atmosphere, delicious spin on foods, and that they are constantly very busy!

For some past reviewers, it may be a good thing for them to know, that they take reservations from 5:30pm-7pm. From about 7pm onward, they leave for the walk-ins. So if you plan on popping into the restaurant, I strongly suggest making a reservation as many reviewers have said that they were rushed.

The food is a great twist on Japanese food! I am Japanese, and there have been certain restaurants that try to take on that new "twist" with the Japanese food...and most of the time..it fails horribly..as it seems they couldn't make the original dish right..and tried to add random things in order to fix the problem and then labelling it as fusion food. Hapa has a great twist, and great food! I strongly recommend their ebi-mayo (deep fried shrimp with their spicy mayonnaise sauce!) - absolutely delicious.

They've recently renovated, and it looks great! The location might be a bit hard to realise if you haven't been there before. It's not the most *flashiest* restaurant over there. As it is all painted black and at the corner! ENJOY!
