Nice crepes
Submitted Friday, October 3, 2008 - 12:26am [Dine in]

Walking around, we saw this little creperie and wanted to try it. So we ordered crepes (normal for a creperie lol). We tasted the chicken / goat cheese and the sea food. Both of them were excellent and of a good size. For desert, even if we were already full, we tried the berries crepe... mmm nice sweet touch to finish this lunch. So good food, friendly waitress but a bit expensive for crepes (I have to admit).

Cheesecake Etc.2141 Granville, Vancouver
very disappointing

This place was recommended to me so tonight my gf wanted cheesecake so I went to cheesecake etc to take out some. The place is nice, romantic and jazzy. For the cheesecakes it's another story. I tasted better frozen cheesecake from the grocery! First of all, 2 of the 3 cheesecakes were completely frozen. Is it supposed to be frozen ???? I tasted a lot of cheesecakes worldwide. This one tastes like a plain icecream (almost no difference between the chocolate and the normal). Real Cheesecake should have a crust no ? Homemade ? It seems all synthetic to me. The only real stuff is the whipped cream, the strawberry sauce is good also.
And for a restaurant called Cheesecake etc, there is not a big selection of cheesecakes.
What a disappointment!
