Brutal service from the teenagers running the place, clearly more concerned with the social aspect of the industry rather than retaining even a comparable level of service to the original location in Burnaby. I think there may have been a management change somewhere along the way and perhaps they should do it again. It's really rather sad because the food has such potential, the location is great and the folks along main street are generally loyal to simple, quality driven restaurants. I fear that the lack of engagement in the front of the house has rubbed off in the kitchen.

Now for the food. I have eaten here twice and neither of my visits were ground shaking. The noodle soup is good but nothing seems to be seasoned properly which is something that can turn a good restaurant great, or a great restaurant bad. The crispy chicken leg was ok but come on, it's a deep fried chicken leg, put some seasoning on it! Garlic, slice of lemon on the side, something.

There is a lot of noodle soup choices out there, explore them.

Go and Go again.
Little pieces of BBQ meat on sticks and a cold Japanese beer. What more do you need??
The Salmon in foil is incredible and if I could ever figured out how to do it I would be much more popular than I currently am.
Go and you will thank yourself and be mad at all those who never told you about it sooner.
Really small and hard to get into but once your in you never want to leave.

The best Pizza ever.
Perfect crust, thin and buttery but far far from greasy.
Great topping options for all tastes, both Veg choices are great, anything with chicken is a nice change, anchovies were always a no go for me but no longer, I get it every time.
The Guy that owns and runs the place is great, always a friendly chat and you can just kick back and wait for your pie.

Yes, the delivery can be slow, go pick it up! If you want great pizza, sometimes you have to put some effort into it. He is my go to pizza man and will continue to be for a long time to come.

The day was Monday, the one day that my go to Pizza guy takes the night off. So I read some reviews on Bella Pizza and all seems well and I go in with good expectations. I figured, hey, this might be a godsend the next time a Monday and a unquenchable pizza urge comes around.

They have your regular topping options, nothing spectacular, nothing exotic, but sometimes thats all we want right? "What could go wrong with a Pepperoni Pizza, double cheese cooked well done"
I said to myself.

Well come on, first thing. It's a Monday, it's not busy so lets try to follow directions and leave the pizza in the oven a couple minutes longer and give the customer what they want. Dough was thick which is all fine and well if it's cooked properly, cheese was oily which can be combated by cooking it well done and crisping the surface of the cheese. Good thing I got it to go so I could bring it home and cook it myself.

The other two "chain" pizza shops next door and across the street are just as good and sometimes better, at least there you know what your going to get.
