Best bubble tea!
Submitted Sunday, August 14, 2011 - 2:52pm [Take-out]

This is my absolute favorite bubble tea place! I have been coming here for so many years and I would never stop coming here if they keep up their quality. I am sort of lame and only usually order mango bubble tea, since I am a little (just a little) obsessed with anything mango. I heard, however, that other flavours are great as well - my parents love the taro, honeydew, and strawberry. It is always fresh mango with milk for me. Over the years, I have never been disappointed with this place. Sometimes they can be slow because they are busy, but for me, that's a good sign. The only thing I really care about is if they can satisfy me with good bubble tea, and they certainly always do.

Taste Of Vietnam, A1016 W Broadway, Vancouver
A solid place for many years

I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, since a friend who worked in that area introduced it to me. It is one of my favourite Vietnamese places to go to. I don't know if they get busy that often because every time I go there it would either be almost empty or only half full. There has only been once when it was a completely packed house at the time I was there (and may I add that I was very happy for them!)

The food is great. I've tried so many things from here but my favourite would have to be their pho. I usually order the P6, which is the Special Beef Noodle Soup. I love their soup; I usually add in the hot sauce but even if I don't, it will still taste delicious. Another dish I like is the Lemongrass Chicken Noodle Soup. I think this was the first place that I tried Lemongrass Chicken in a soup - and I loved it. Their Spring Roll is also good and not greasy - it is one of the must-eat appetizers.

The service here, while not exceptionally great, is not bad. It can be slow at times as usually there is only one server, but it is not the kind of incredibly slow service that would annoy me. I love how this place gives you a small complimentary fruits bowl at the end of your meal. Sometimes, I get so full from all the food here that I had no room left for that!

I hope this place gets a lot of business. I've seen a lot of places close down lately and I would not want to see this place do the same. They're a solid restaurant that I can rely on. Throughout all the years that I've been coming here, I've been bringing many friends and they all like it. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
