Great Neat and Tidy Place

I just had a late dinner here tonight and I was quite impressed. A lot cleaner than other Vietnamese restaurants. Food was delicious and plates came with really attractive garnish on them.

The 2 big screen TV's were bright and loud so I probably wouldn't bring a first date here.

Service was top notch. The cook said thank-you to us when we left. Even though it's a small gesture, how often do you hear those words these days?

I'd definitely come back

The worst experience i had ever! and I'm not even a picky eater!
Submitted Friday, December 11, 2009 - 5:50pm [Dine in]

I just had takeout from this place today and it was a horrible experience right from the start. The lady who i presume is the co-owner was extremely rude and unpleasant when I ordered. It felt like I wasn't welcome at all. After taking my order, she never said thank-you or anything to me. I had to ask for the receipt twice before she gave it too!

When my order was ready for pickup in 5 minutes, she asked me if I needed chopsticks.. well DUH! what am I gonna do? eat the bento box with my bare hands?

After arriving back home, I notice that the wasabi is totally wet, the tempura is not even remotely crispy, the california rolls are wet, the salad has a weird taste to it and the chicken teriyaki has a rubbery texture to it. Also, I got just ONE package of soya sauce and it wasn't even the decent Kikkomen brand. It was Wing-On soya sauce! LOL.

The sad thing about this whole experience was that the bento box costed 11$. I've had delicious bento boxes from japanese restaurants on commercial drive that only charge $6.50.

Never coming here again. Even if I am starving and haven't eaten for 7 days.
