Great view, awesome desserts

I went to The Observatory for Dine Out Vancouver in February. The ambiance is amazing! I loved the view - it was freezing outside, but it makes the restaurant that much cosier inside, with the lodge-like feel. The main course wasn't terribly impressive (small portions, decent taste), but the desserts (creme brulee! yum) were awesome. The appetizers were nice as well. Good spot for a romantic date!

Good Sushi you can rely on

This is one of my favourite sushi places. We usually order the alaska roll, dynamite roll, spicy tuna roll. The sashimi is huge and fresh. I've ordered several different items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Small, clean place with long lineups at peak, but hey - the food's worth it. If you're looking for quality at an affordable price, look no further.

Sweet Revenge? I think not

The ambiance is neat and cozy, but would the desserts live up to the hype? I ordered creme brulee and hot chocolate...the creme brulee (raspberry flavour) tasted like ordinary, cold custard. The hot chocolate didn't really have much flavour. My boyfriend ordered the tiramisu, which was average. Disappointed, given the hype.
