okay food, not great service.

I've been to this restaurant twice now. The first time the service was better, but then they weren't as busy. Both times the food was just okay, not great. The second time I went, the service was not so awesome. One person came to ask us if we wanted anything to drink, we said water. A few minutes went by, that person got things for other people yet no water for us. Someone else came up and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Then we got water. We didn't get our chips and salsa (which is free/included) until our meal finally came out (took a long time to come), and I asked if the chips and salsa were included. I noticed that a couple that came in after us was served their food and chips and salsa before us. A couple after us did not get chips and salsa either. Yes they were busy, but the food just isn't good enough to make me want to go back and deal with the crappy service. Our server was nice and pleasant though, no one was rude or anything.

handmade noodles were not as good as i thought they would be

I've wanted to try handmade noodles for awhile so I was excited to try out this place, reputed for how amazing their noodles are. We went in the afternoon on a weekday and the place was about half full. The service was decent and the food came out quickly enough. The decor inside is what you'd expect at a cheap noodle place.

The portion size was big for the price, and the price was relatively cheap (about $6). I ordered cold noodles with peanut sauce, tofu and some veggies. It was pretty good but not anything amazing. Maybe it was the cilantro they added that took away from my enjoyment of it. I didn't think the handmade noodles were anything special. My dining companion ordered a hot noodle soup with dumplings. She really liked her noodles - thought they tasted really good. The soup had a mild flavour she said but she liked it.

I wouldn't go back but it's not because there's anything wrong with the restaurant, I just didn't find it anything special and it's very out of the way for me. I'd recommend you stop by and check it out if you're in the area.
