Delicous & Friendly, if expensive.

The gelato is very good, plentiful & full of variety. It's pretty darn expensive, but if you ask real nice, they'll give you a bunch of half scoops and you can get your money's worth.

Best gelato in town, as far as I know. But I haven't tried the other one on 3 road yet...

As a buffet, good service isn't exactly essental. They forgot our drinks, but were very nice and apologetic about it.

The food is yummy, the mango milkshakes are small, but delicious (try dipping the nann bread in them!)

All and all, we've been several times and it has consistantly been delicious.

Their price has steadily been going up, however, putting them dangerously close to out of the AYCE cost bracket.

I give them a 1 in ambiance simply because it feels like any other cafe.

The pepper steak is by far my favorite item on the menu, but, in traditional Chinese style, I've sampled many of the largely portioned dishes and have generally been very pleased with all of them.

There is definately a language barrier with the service staff, but it isn't too big a deal, you just have to make sure they understand the order.

They should replace the tea pots, however. I've never seen anyone pour tea (including the waitresses) without spilling it all over the place haha.

Quiet atmosphere, great setting for a serious business lunch, a quiet/dignified celebration etc, and deeeelicious food.

All you can eat goodness.

The kitchen is fast and efficient, and makes good food. The waiters are like a well oiled machine and bring that food and collect the orders quickly and efficiently.

The food is all you can eat sushi. Not disgusting like Shota certainly, but not a cullinary masterpiece either.

All and all, we've been there a dozen or so times, and its always been a very pleasent experience.

Exotic & Fun!

Every time I've gone to Gogo, it's been excellent, prompt & competent service combined with exotic and interesting food choices at a reasonable price.

Ordering things like jellyfish and king crab, and still having the total bill around $20 including a monster-sized bubble tea, and having a cute gimmick with the outfits the waitresses all wear all cause me to give this place a 4. Also, the place is clean, and has interesting adornments.

In fact, now that I think of it, I'm going to give them a 5 over all.

The bacon rolls that saved the day
Submitted Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 2:17pm [Dine in]

I've been to this place twice. The first time was when they first opened, and it was quite good. Especially their scallop/bacon rolls. Quite delicious. Those particular items, I would give a 4/5 on the food rating. In fact, my first visit to this place I would have given most of the food a 4/5.

The second time...

Our experience was bad enough to be funny, actually.

Their bbq salmon pieces were a 3/5 (I've read the other reviews, and I didn't experience the fin-thing. They were good when I went)

The service, however... I think that they were TRYING to be bad. There's no way it could be accidental.

We ordered once, (a large order) and about 4 items showed up. We waited, and asked if we could get what we ordered, they looked surprised like we had. We were missing about 80% of our order.

We laughed, and said fine, and ordered again. No big deal.

Then they gave us both. The apparently found the original, and decided to combine the two together. So instead of 8 orders of california rolls, we got 16. etc. (Although the math wasn't quite so predictable, some were multiplied by three, others never showed, or were replaced with other items)

The height of the evening, however, was when I ordered a glass of water, and, after a long period of time, when nothing happened, I reminded the waitress of the water order, and, after some time, she finally brought back... a container of soya sauce.

(oh, I almost forgot, she dropped the soya sauce container like it was a rotten fish and sneered)

At this point, we were curious, so someone else at the table ordered a glass of water, at which point, the waitress said "another one?", and brought three.

All and all, counting was not their strong suit.

Most of the food was fatty, bad, stale, and improperly (if at all) delivered.

Oh, and they were out of the bacon rolls.
