They get Fresh Halibut in ONCE A WEEK!
I know of restaurants in the Interior that ship halibut in every day!
We are beside the freaking ocean people, cant they at least do that? I overheard the cooks in the line asking " Chef, how long do I cook THIS fish for?" and the thing is the chef there didnt know, so he whipped out his cell and called someone(presumably the HEAD CHEF) to try and find out. The point is...THESE PEOPLE ARE COOKING HERE EVERY DAY!!! AND THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK THE FREAKING FISH!! THIS IS A SEAFOOD RESTAURANT ISNT IT? FED UP WITH THESE RESTAURANTS(WINNING AWARDS AND THIS IS HOW THEY DO IT)
If you are going to spend over a grand stay away from here.

OK, this is pretty good.

I hope the management doesnt decide to add 20 more tables to the restaurant( add more, lesser the quality, not ALL the time)
The kitchen staff are all from one point or another from EARLS(Weird, theres a similarity to the "fine dining" restaurants) so the cooks are used to High volume restaurants.
Out of all the high volume restaurants, this one is probably the best.
Now if I can only find a romantic restaurant(40-120 seats) that gives this much effort to their food and customers.
By the way, the kitchen is clean(from what I saw at least)
Tip: Never eat in a restaurant that has a dirty kitchen, a microwave, or one that has no discipline!!!)

I dont get it, I thaught every highly talked about restaurant in Vancouver was like WEST.
The kitchen looks like a bunch of chickens with their head cut off(ok, im over reacting)
And I mean come on, keep your kitchen somewhat clean, it resembles your food.
I bet they staff thinks they are all hot stuff winning magazine awards, but it doesnt help brainwash me in thinkin your food is GREAT!!!
I think ill just move elsewhere for good food, and come back in 10 years.
