Cheesecake Etc.2141 Granville, Vancouver
Submitted Wednesday, August 31, 2005 - 5:40pm [Dine in]

Was looking forward to gorging on decadent cheesecakes the late night I came down to Cheesecake Etc.

Was disappointed with the blah cheesecakes I was presented with...other places do better.

If you're in the mood for a hole-in-the-wall, very cozy atmosphere, however, this is the right place to while the hours away with a friend.

Sandbar Seafood Restaurant1535 Johnston Street, Vancouver
Yummy food with good view to boot

I love Sandbar for many reasons. For one, the spinach salad's decent. The clam chowder's also pretty good. And the entrees are quite yummy as well. Haven't gotten around to the desserts yet, as am always too full when I come here to eat.

Made the mistake, however, of having brunch here one morning/noon. The benny was stale and yucky -- better off at Denny's.

Dockside Restaurant1253 Johnston Street, Vancouver
Love the Patio
Submitted Wednesday, August 31, 2005 - 5:31pm [Dine in]

Gotta be one of the best patio dining experiences on Granville Island -- the view by the docks is fabulous on warm, clear days. If too cold, the interior of this cozy restaurant is also charming. An aquarium holds up the bar. Bathrooms are great.

Had the spinach salad, clam chowder, and pizza for lunch and it added up to an even $30, with some leftover pizza to boot. Yum yum.
