Beef is too salty
Submitted Thursday, January 27, 2011 - 11:51pm [Dine in]

It is my first time going to this place, a coworker recommended. I asked the cashier what she recommends because the menu has so many different dishes. She recommends the Montreal or Quebec Beef on fries because I like meat a lot. The order came and I was not surprised about the huge portion because I paid like $7. At Safeway you can buy a huge bag of potatoe for $4 bucks or less. Because I was so hungry I just dig in and the fries with the gravy are so good, however the beef is over salted or something cause it tasted nasty. I think I would rate 4 if the beef are not that salty other than that it's good. I wanna go there again I will order the same dish and this time I will ask them to not put that much salt on the beef.

Taro bubble tea
Submitted Thursday, January 27, 2011 - 11:37pm [Take-out]

Went there today the place is recommended by a friend of mine. I tried the taro bubble tea, however is not that good as I expected. It was too sweet and it had a similar taste to other normal bubble tea places. Not coming back to this place. The best place so far for bubble tea I think it's the one on Cambie and 41st, the place is next to the Sushi restaurant and in front of Oakridge mall.
