high hopes, but dissappointment yet again ;_;

I try not to eat here often, since the prices are not gentle to my wallet.

The menu could be expanded. The foods seem pretty dull, but maybe it's just because I'm not into Taiwanese food that much. There ARE certain foods that I do repeatedly get when I go there, such as the filet sandwich, taro toast, or the fries. I don't drink bubble tea, so I can't do a review for that.

The servers do check up on you once in a while asking if anything is needed, so that is a plus.

I remember years ago, for our elementary graduation, we planned to book the whole place. They gave us a price and we gave them the money. Fair, right? Wrong. They only rented us half of the place, and claimed that we didn't give enough money to book the whole place.

There was another time when I did take out and left, not knowing that I didn't take my other order. After a while, I realized that I had paid for what I didn't get so I went back and they handed me my forgotten order :)

Overall, the cafe has a very modern vibe and is a nice place for younger people to chill in.

Coming from a fairly regular customer...

First off, they raised their prices.

Okay, now that I've got that out, it's time for the real deal!

Like what the other reviews say, the service is not the best. I usually eat here on Sundays with my family and what I noticed is that they will make very small talk with you if they recognize you--nothing more, but it's good enough.

The servers CAN be nice once in a while, but it is also true that after serving some customers, they will lollygag in a group and chit chat away, glancing at everyone once in a while. One even rolled her eyes at me when taking our order!

Do not lose hope in this cafe though! The food is actually very good :) Like every restaurant, diner, etc., you can't say that their food is bad until you find the dish that you like, or if you have tried every single thing on the menu. The food is served in good portions, and most of the time I have to take the rest of the food home.

In my opinion, the atmosphere is just right, but that's just me.

Other than the poor service, I would recommend people to try this cafe out.

Try the Peanut Butter on Toast with Condensed Milk!
