This Place Stinks of Piss & Service is Terrible
Submitted Wednesday, August 29, 2012 - 11:45am [Dine in]

This is the 3rd time we had breakfast at Troll's & every time you can smell the urine that came from the Men's toilet.

This morning the whole restaurant smelt of piss so we had to sit in the outside patio. The female server was exceptionally rude "everyone here is waiting for the ferry" when I simply told her that we have been trying to flag down a server to order our breakfast to no avail after 10 minutes, when they are not even busy this morning.

Food was mediocre except for the hash brown patties. This will be our last visit but Vancouver Coastal Health should be knocking on their door....hopefully before too long..

Did Not Live Up To The Reputation

I was recommended by a good friend that this is one of the best AYCE Japanese restaurants, and after reading the reviews, I decided to take an out of town guest to the establishment for lunch.

Parking was difficult and we eventually got something across the street at the Aberdeen Centre. The restaurant decor looked decent and the service was reasonable. Each person was only allowed 2 orders of sashimi for lunch. The slices were both thin and small, the menu was extremely limited compared to other AYCE restaurants in the same price range. The presentation for the sushi's and wraps were poor and some of them had "fallen apart" when it got to our table.
The teriyaki beef was tough and they put too much sugar in the noodles.

We were very disappointed to say the least and would not return again.
