Tea Works5695 Victoria Drive, Vancouver
Horrid expierence
Submitted Sunday, February 4, 2007 - 4:25pm [Dine in]

I had ordered a strawberry slush bubble tea to go. There were only about 5 people in tea works, yet i waited about 15 minutes for my drink. They also charge a dollar more for my drink then other places would normally charge. When i finally got my drink, it was very watery with hardly any slush. Would I go there again? Only if I'm dying for drinks.

Oishii Sushi780 Denman Street, Vancouver

I went here with my sister for lunch the other day. We got service right away from the very friendly staff. Although the staff were nice, the food is another thing.. The prawn tempura was very small and not very filling. But the alaska rolls were very generous with the filling. The miso soup, oshinko rolls, and the gyoza were absolutely delicious! The ambiance wasn't very good. They clearly used tables which clearly stated "Hawaii". There wasn't really any japanese feel to the restaurant, unless you count the many japanese sushi posters on the walls. But, I would go to Oishii Sushi again, since it's in the neighbourhood.
