Pink Peppercorn Seafood House1485 Kingsway, Vancouver
The Best Seafood Dinner I have had in a Long Time!
Submitted Saturday, September 18, 2010 - 11:41am [Dine in]

Last night we took my mother to The Pink Peppercorn for her 71st B-Day, As my Father did the construction on the original Cannery Restaurant way back when, my mom had to try this place out. I knew Eddy was a chef at the Cannery for many years so my expectations were high for the food quality and service, But because we are talking about Kingsway East Van,so my expactations for the room were not that high to be perfectly honest.
We arrived at 7:30 for our reservation and were promply greeted and seated at a table of our choice, There were about 6 or 7 other full tables at the time we sat, The decor is simple with an effort to make the space a somewhat Nautical Theme, nothing super fancy but pleasant just the same. 2 waiters on the floor. So no problems with Service what so ever.
Ordered our meals and everything came out promply and well presented, My mothers Salmon Wellington was awesome, as was my girlfriends Catfish. I had the special that was a Steamed Halibut and it was a 10 out of 10.
After dinner Eddy made his rounds to see how everyones meals were, and we discussed the plans for thier redecerorating that is slowly moving forward as $$$ permit (I wish my Father was still alive so he could offer Eddy some of his special construction touches that he performed at the Cannery). Our Waiter was outstanding and very professional ( 17 years at the Cannery gives him some good experience I would say)

All in all I would reccomend the Pink Peppercorn with out hesitation! we will be back again soon!

Thanks Eddy and Staff.
