Like being in Mexico
Submitted Wednesday, September 12, 2007 - 8:00pm [Dine in]

I lived outside of Mexico City for a few years growing up and have found it hard to find decent Mexican food here in Vancouver. Many people told me that Las Magarita's is the best, yet I beg to differ. I liked Topanga and the atmosphere felt like I was in Mexico! Minus the red headed waitress of course. I love the tacos and the rice. The sangria does need some help thought!

I am a big pizza person and this pizza was alright. I really enjoyed it, but the sauce was a little bland compared to other places. My husband got the meat tortellini with meat sauce and wow, I was eating away at that! It was really good. This is also one of the few places I have found taht serves Red Rooster wine, which is my favorite. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is nice and quick. We were there on a busy night and out waitress was busy, but managed to keep up with us. I love Incendio's!

Just went to the Tank, have been there before for the pizza (which is good) but I try not to go too much cause the service is SOOOO bad. I went tonight for the Burger and Brew for 10.99. The burger was burnt and I am pretty sure it was a pre-made Costco type patty. It was served with yummy fries and a decent salad, but I was given maybe two tablespoons of ketchup. I wanted more, but the waitress was never around. She came to take the order and drop off the food. We finished and waited and waited for the bill, we eventually just had to go find her. She was talking to a fellow waitress and sitting down at a booth. The place was dead, a little attention would not have killed her. All in all we decided never to go back there for Burger and Brew night, and maybe never again period. We prefer gargoyles which is a few blocks down. The burgies there are really good!
