Nice new decor but not the food

Why did Rob Feenie align himself with this restaurant? Was it for more money? Did he actually contribute to any of the menu items? I am not a fan of White Spot and after many poor lunches & dinners I'm down to breakfasts only.
I have given them 2 chances to make a decent breakfast wrap....the cook(s) needs to take lessons from the Wrap Zone since they are only able to flop the ends together apparently with no idea that someone may in fact wish to eat the item whilst holding it in their hands. Service is consistently slow at this outlet although the servers are generally quite amicable. The turkey dinners I've had here (2) taste a tiny step above TV dinners (yes in my youth I actually ate a turkey TV dinner).

Marcello's Good - Service Bad

Have eaten here at least a dozen times in the past 3 years.
Have tried about 5-7 items on the menu. I often order the same 2-3 dishes. Have been going more for lunch lately.
FOOD: Consistently good. Great grilled calimari and chef's salad though price is a bit $$.
SERVICE: 3 years ago the servers we had were quite friendly and good but slow with the food - not necessarily their fault. There were a group of female servers who seemed to be there whenever we went to eat dinner. In the last year or so, I've haven't seen them again and also noticed a very high turnover of new servers; they get younger all the time, and they get less friendly and less and less efficient. Now, we won't even talk about how slow the food service is but to have to wait 20 minutes for the bill and have to ask twice is unacceptable. I am not going to put all the blame on the servers since I am a firm believer that if you have GOOD MANAGEMENT and TRAINING and TREAT your people with respect (ie be nice to them AND pay them a good wage) they will shine. I'm giving them one more chance. I will wait a month before I go back to see if the service has improved.
