Mr. Pickwick's Fish & Chips1007 Denman Street, Vancouver
Best Fish & Chips Ever!!
Submitted Monday, January 28, 2008 - 10:30am [Dine in]

When I first discovered this place I was blown away. Quality food, beyond reasonable prices, cheap beer, friendly staff, and deep fried mars bars. The healthy choice for fish and chips. The food is 110% better when Mr. Pickwick is in his kitchen cooking the meals. I always called ahead to make sure he was cooking before I decided to dine in here because it really is that much better. Don't get me wrong, the other cooks are good too, but not as good as the man himself. He puts extra love and care into what he cooks, and the presentation is always a step above the other cooks.

You can't go wrong with this place when Mr. Pickwick is in the kitchen.

I love this place, and all that they offer. The Falafel, The Stews, The Curry's, and the deserts are all to die for. I highly recommend this place if your looking for something healthy and different.

Can I get some grease, sweat, and flu on that slice? Thanks.

A few weeks ago I stopped in to order a cheap medium pizza when to my amazement the lady at the cash register turned left and sneezed all over the single serve slices. The lady beside me asked her is she has a cold, and she blamed it on the pepper that she was just re-filling. She didn't even bother to remove the slices, leaving them there to be sold, and was ready and eager to sell one to the lady waiting in line who just witnessed the horror.

Welcome to Pizza Garden where the pizza makers rub their hands through their greasy hair and flick the sweat off there faces with their fingers. Watch in amazement when those hands go straight into the blue tub of cheese that gets spilt onto the line, which eventually ends up on your pizza, which then (if your lucky!)gets sneezed on.

This is some serious nasty, Nasty.
