First time I walked out a restaurant...

A friend told me he went to this place few years ago, and it was pretty good. Three of us went there for late night snack, and the place was pretty empty, except for one table with a big group of people.

The waitress wanted to sit us right beside to the big group of people, and I asked the waitress whether if she can sit us somewhere else instead.

Me: Can we sit over there instead?

Waitress: (staring at me) No, I haven’t cleaned that table.

Me: (Thinking… the table looks pretty clean to me… with new cup, napkin, chopstick, and plate).
Me: (Pointing at other unoccupied tables) Can we be over there then?

Waitress (stare at me and with a very ANGRY voice) NO!! I CANNOT do that!

I was speechless after that. We sat down for few second, and then we just decided to leave.

Food is fresh, and a lot of variety to choose from. Portion and price is acceptable (me and my girlfriend spent $28 before tax and tips for lunch). The presentations for some of the food look very attractive as well.

Service…. well except for one Japanese waitress who always slight bow her body or say thank after talking to us… all the rest of the waitresses are rubbish. First of all, they only refill our tea once, and when the waitress bought us our food, she just quickly mentioned the name of our food and left (usually a professional waitress will say something like “please enjoy”). When she took our plates, she didn’t even say anything and took them away (it’s not even busy hour, we went there around 1:45pm). One of the waitresses even plays with her cell phone. In the end, when the waitress bought us our bill, she didn’t even say anything, she just hand me the Credit Card machine! Also no goodbye or thank you when we left.
