Great Italian Food

I enjoy going to Roman's, The food is always tasty, they are reasonably priced and my family and I always feel welcome. Lunch specials are great with tasty panninis, and pasta specials. Value is good with good portion sizes. Not a fancy establishment by all means, but service and food quality make up for any lack in ambiance.

Not What I Expected
Submitted Monday, March 12, 2007 - 10:21pm [Dine in]

After reading the reviews I decided to take my Husband to Nu. I made reservatioins way in advance with specifications that I was a hotel Concierge and it was my husbands birthday. The service was execellent however; we were offered a choice of two tables in the dining room one by the kitchen and one in the middle of the restaurant. Needless to say the ambiance of a romantic evening went out the window when a group of 6 loud people were sat right next to us.

We were brought our drinks right away and handed menus. I was surprised when I read the menu. It was very limited. I inquired with the waiter regarding this and he informed me that they had continued Dine Out Vancouver Menu due to the populairity of it. This dissapointed me because I usually preview menus online because i have a fish allergy. There was not one Item on the Main Menu that was OK for my allergy.

We had two appies two drinks and we left for another restaurant.

Not at all satisfied. Probably will not reccommend or return.
