Great Steak!
Submitted Thursday, October 19, 2006 - 8:42pm [Dine in]

I came here for my birthday during the Eat Vancouver! special period, and unfortunately when I made my reservations the manager forgot to take down that I was expecting to be able to choose off the special menu. Howeverm after talking to the manager in person there he quickly fixed that, apologized, and even allowed us to choose whatever we want, whether it be on the Eat Vancouver menu or the regular one.

Being the steak lover I am, I obviously chose the steak, and I have to say it was VERY good. Enough for me to crave it and compare every other steak I eat to it. Other than that, everyone seemed to enjoy their meals to a great deal, and only complained about how they wanted more.

Since I've only been there once I can't say everything on the menu was great, but if you like steak this is definitely I great place to stop by.

I've been going to Pearl Drops since it opened - mostly because it's fairly close to my house, (walking distance,) and I've enjoyed their drinks and service, and occasionally, their food.

They're still a fairly new business, but they're constantly expanding and growing, and their menu has become quite extensive with no signs of slowing down. They're now offering green tea cakes and "tea art", both of which I have yet to try out, but am definitely looking forward to.

The atmosphere is very cozy, though at the same time it has a fairly modern feel to it. It could be bigger, but given the space it has, it's designed fairly well.

If you decide to go, try to Hot Hazelnut Latte. It's definitely one of my favourites.
