Salty Pork
Submitted Tuesday, November 25, 2008 - 12:53pm [Dine in]

Ordered the Sloping Hills Pork Belly Rack, everybody agreed it was too salty. Told the waitress and people came by to ask me a few times what else they can get for me. They even eneded up waiving the price. Very touched by their service.

Why do we need to send in at least 300 characters for the reviews??!!

The decor was old.

Started off with the homemade chowder and caesar salad. There is nothing special about their chowder. Ordered the appetiser platter, the oyster florentine was VERY fishy. Also had the seafood penne, again, the fish are just too fishy BUT the penne are cooked to perfection and liked the sauce.

Service was great.

Terrible Experience
Submitted Friday, July 4, 2008 - 11:23am [Dine in]

The salmon tartare was not fresh at all and when I told the waitress that it's fishy she asked me what I mean by it's fishy!!

Since the salmon tartare was very unsatisfying we then ordered the drumettes. The waitress did tell us that they'll probaby come after the main courses. They never came and after we finished our main courses she brought the dessert menu AND the bill w/out us asking for it. She told us "your drumettes never came so we took it off the bill"??!!!

The waterfront setting was great and loved the light Canoe beer.
