Catching it's stride
Submitted Thursday, March 19, 2009 - 7:48pm [Dine in]

This area is growing fast, and we recently moved close to this restaurant. While the first time we had take out from East was not a great experience, our next visit made up for that.
Despite being in a large and nearly empty mall, it provides a light and modern atmosphere.
The server and manager were exceptionally polite and quick with our food.
And the food was very good, some unique flavors and for the price it is an exceptional value.
I hope they offer pick up service soon as the manager promised.

Great take out, Good place to eat in

We have ordered take-out from Real more than a half dozen times now and have really enjoyed the quality, taste and variety of the food. As well as the friendliest delivery people!

I think that the only minor complaint with the delivered food would be that the deep fried portions (spring rolls) are on the greasy side. But the freshness in the vegetables, and in other dishes more than makes up for it.
I really enjoy their tart lemon rind chicken, a step above the usual bland fair.

I especially love their Fruity Porkchops, and my husband loves their pineapple curry rice. These items are not on your average Chinese take out menu.

We have eaten in the restaurant and enjoyed the dim sum menu. Very very tasty, and again, there is no where close in the west end that you can find this type of chinese food. The service was extremely friendly. My one complaint in the restaurant was the choice of 80's pop music that did not fit in with the decor or theme of the restaurant. It was sadly distracting.

I am surprised when I see empty tables at this restaurant.
