Nothing special
Submitted Sunday, April 1, 2007 - 7:17pm [Dine in]

I went to Orange Room on this Sunday for brunch and I can say I was very disapointed.
We had to wait for more than half an hour for our food. I love eggs Benedict but the ones from Orange Room were not the best, especially the sauce which it wasn't Hollandaise Sauce for sure...I think it had yougurt in it.
The tea was served without a tea spoon and there were no napkins on the table.
My husband's breakfast was very plain, some scramble eggs with 2 tiny sausages.
The place is nice inside but with this kind of service and food I think they will lose many customers.

Although the restaurant is not too big, there is a band and a small dance floor.

The food is very savoury and the portions are huge. I was there with my husband and another 2 friends, and after the "appetizer for 4" we were all full. We had to take home our main courses.

The waiters were very nice, the service was fabulous, I guess also because the owner was there all the time watching all their moves...lol

The only disapointment was the dessert. They were out of almost everyting exccept cheese cake...

Overall good, I recomend this restaurant for birthday parties or any other kind of parties.

After reading in the newspaper that this restaurant was named the best business of the year I decided to go and see what is so special about this place.

I can tell you that I was impresed. It was a Saturday night, the place was full to capacity, everybody was having a good time. People were dancing, eating, laughing. I never seen such a restaurant in Lower Mainland before.

Me and my friend had a table next to the window. The view was spectacular. The service was great and the food, although we had to wait a little bit (just because everyting is made at the moment)was real Italian. My friend was very pleased with his Mayor's Choice Rib eye steak. It was one of the biggest steak I ever seen...

There were a lot of people who really knew how to dance. Although we did not dance, we enjoy watching the others. It was like a free show.

Before leaving the owner came, talked to us and escorted us to the door. Him and his staff made us feel very special.

We will go there again soon.
