Michi Waffle & Espresso Bar1319 Robson Street, Vancouver
Nice & Simple Decor, but Wide Selections
Submitted Monday, July 11, 2011 - 12:38am [Dine in]

Michi is a nice place to spend time with friends as well as a great place to hang out alone.
It's quite busy during the daytime when everyone wants to try they're aesthetically appealing waffles (I still have yet to try).
At night (they're open 'til late), it's quieter but VERY comfortable.
I enjoy their selection of coffee and tea. They also have bubble tea and slush.
Give this place a try! You can't go wrong with that many different things to choose from and they clean and simple space!
Like I mentioned above, it's not a big coffee shop and tables can be full a lot of the time, so put that into mind and expect waits.
(please don't trust my ratings 100%, it's a different thing for everyone)

Let's NOT Support this One

Let's not support this Vina Vietnamese.
Service was HORRIBLE. It's definetely not worth the money and your time to try this place out. The food is not notable and the service is just bad. POOR customer service.
They made me so angry. Even the friendliness and enthusiasm that I displayed to them did not get reciprocated.
I even made sure I noted this place on my cellphone so that I could write a review on this.
So if you want a good food and service experience, just don't choose this place.

Nice Little Cafe!
Submitted Sunday, September 26, 2010 - 8:52pm [Dine in]

It was because of this coffee shop that I feel in love with coffee!

I went in, ordered a decaf Americano and just sat inside the quiet cafe for about an hour. I was feeling very stressed and down that day, but after that short while, I felt so energized and got through a few hours of studying in the library. The de-stressing time I had in there by myself was great!

After a couple of more times, that cafe owner are a bit like friends. He's pretty friendly.

There's a TV on and many magazines to accompany you/you and your friends. You can also look out the glass at the people and cars going by. Of course take outs always an option.

Coffee, tea, baked goods, sandwiches, cold drinks. It's not a busy place. So if you want some quiet. Go there!

Honestly, if you're looking for impressive food and drinks or a nicely decorated place, this isn't the place to go. Casual, but warm and neat, go there if you just need a little time away from your hectic life!
