Given up on this place!

I decided to give this place another try because it was my mom's b'day and she chose Stonegrill. The view was breathtaking. The staff were ok...not exceptional service for an upscale restaurant. Definitely upscale prices but nothing up to par except the view. Is there a way to adjust the temperature of the stone according to how we would like our meat done? For example, if someone wants medium rare, heat the stone for half the time than usual so the meat stops cooking sooner. Mines cooked too quickly and ruined my dinner. Hey, owners of Stonegrill...are you listening to your customers?! If you don't, you won't have any left!

Satisfied 9 Hungry People
Submitted Tuesday, January 1, 2008 - 8:54pm [Dine in]

We made reservations for 11:30am on a Saturday and was really surprised that during the course of our lunch, there were not a lot of people...usually there's a line-up. I really liked the Formosa style satay beef shaghetti, String beans and Spicy Pork. The food was overall, delicious but the service did impact the overall experience. The waitresses were not very attentive...we had to ask for more tea and move empty plates to another table ourselves so that we could accommodate other dishes. All they were doing if they were not bringing out food was chatting with each other. Laziness was what my boyfriend described of them.

Well Tea has Double Ts - Trendy & Tasty
Submitted Tuesday, January 1, 2008 - 8:25pm [Dine in]

A trendy place, not known to many because of it's location and perhaps a misconception of being only a tea place but now that you know, you should make an effort to try. They have a wide selection of bubble tea and surprisingly a good selection in their food menu. We ordered the 3 spice chicken, Taiwanese Chicken Thigh in soup noodles and Taiwanese Spareribs. The food was very tasty and everything was great but some dishes may come in smaller portions than others. Regardless, worth a try and going back.
