Suki Sushi143 Chadwick Court, North Vancouver

Since I accidently visited this place few months ago, this place became my favorite restaurant in northshore.
Suki is located in lonsdale quay and has a great view.
I usually order spicy tuna salad or tuna/salmon carpacio as an appetizer and both are simply amazaing. Very unique and tasty.
You also have to try spicy tuna roll which is wrapped with red soy bean paper.
Sushi and sashimi were also fresh and presentation was nicely done.

Foods are little bit more expensive when we compare with other Japanese restaurant around, but it it worth it!

Best Japanese restaurant in tri-cities

I've been to lots of Japanese restaurants in tri-cities but Sushi Shelter just became my favorite Japanese restaurant.
When I read good reviews about Sushi shelter in dinehere.ca, I decided to give them a try and I visited there with my girlfriend 3 weeks ago.
I was having some difficult time to find the restaurant because it was located in kind of odd place.
Anyways, we ordered couple of fusion rolls(one of them was snoopy roll), croquette and sashimi melody and foods were amazaing!
Both rolls we ordered were very unique. My girlfriend especially loved snoopy roll.
Sashimi melody was really fresh and big portion!
We also had some complimentary and they were also great.
The presentation of the food was also very cute.
The service was very friendly too.
Since then, I already visited there 2 times more and I was always happy.

I highly recommend this restaurant and I think everyone will love this place.

Food: for appetizer, my girlfriend tried tuna&salmon tartare and it was a killer! amazing food. I ordered sashimi and sushi for appetizer and entree but there was nothing special though. I should have ordered lobster gyoza. i'd rather try tapas over sushi or sashimi.

Service: decent service! a waitress always tried to help us out and smiled. she made little mistake as she brought wrong food to us but fair enough!

Value: we weren't full enough but $28 per person was not bad at all.

ambiance: it was a quier place but little bit cold. it was an old building and i think they tried to do something special for decoration but it was kinda unbalnced.

overall: i'd go there again!
