They recently expanded their menu to include more varieties of dosa but the quality and portion size remains quite good. The food, rather than the ambiance is the star in this restaurant. If you order the dosas, it arrives at your table fresh with a crispy skin on the edges and the curry or potato masala in the middle. Also good to try is their kottu roti, as it is also made fresh and comes with a very tasty gravy/curry.
This restaurant has very generous portions of well seasoned meat that is cooked with very good technique. The sausages seem like they are quite freshly made and their roast veal or pork is second to none in my opinion. The scalloped potatoes which come with the roast are also very nicely made.
The service is prompt and the decor is pretty standard I'd think.
Although the location is slightly out of the way in an industrial park, the owner told us that he is expanding to a larger and more convenient location soon.
In any case, while the food may be slightly pricey, it provides good value in terms of its quality and quantity. The restaurant serves a variety of kebabs as its main dishes, which includes a very tender chicken kebab. Usually we also get their rice dish (Quabeli Pallow) which comes with pickled carrots and raisins on top of it, inside it is a very tender beef shank. Warm Afghan naan also comes with every meal it seems.
I would highly recommend this place to bring a group of friends to, but a word of warning to vegetarians- although they have a selection of vegetable curries, the dishes primarily contain meat in some form or another.
