Yokohama Japanese Restaurant12251 No.1 Road, #140, Richmond

Starting at the old Westminster Highway location, I've been going to the Yokahama for almost 20 years. I love the fact that Laura was able to buy the restaurant and move it to Steveston but have been disappointed that she hasn't been able to maintain the quality. It was acceptable a few years ago but there are now much better restaurants in the area. I'll still stop by for old times sake but their chicken tariyaki and tempura no longer measure up.

One of the Best

Have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the service. Try to stop by for dinner at least once a week and often bring the family and friends.. Can always find something on the menu even for the most picky children. Nice to see that the quality at the Seafair shop carried through to the Steveston location. The spicy salmon sushimi appetizer is exceptional.

Dave's Fish & Chips3460 Moncton St., Richmond
Good for the Winter

I still prefer Pajo's during the summer but Dave's can come close if you ask for the light batter. Clam chowder is good if you order it early enough. Don't like the many tiny left-over chips they give you in the take-out orders. And why do they charge for Tartar sauce?
