Great Meal

We had a double date with my sister and her boyfriend last night. Good food. The 24/7 daily special is definitely the best deal on the menu. My wife had that and it was the bacon wrapped ling cod. Excellent dish! We also tried the duck confit, crispy pork belly, and the steak. Steak and pork are nothing to write home about but we all really enjoyed the duck and ling cod.

The french onion appy was awesome but really small. My wife and I shared that and we each had a sip. The appy size is about 4 ounces. Presentation is wicked and flavour is perfect. The beef carpaccio was meh.

Atmosphere is a romantic low light level and is a bit of a smaller place. If you have more than 8 people, I would advice against booking here. Service was excellent and prompt! Will definitely try this restaurant again!

This is by far the best sorbetto and gelato I've had.....EVER! My wife and I stumbled upon this place during our nightly walk and even though they were already closed, the owner opened up his doors and told us to "come on in". The service is outstanding!

Value is just like any of the other gelato places in town. Single scoop will cost you about $5. But what really makes it worthwhile is the flavours!

I'm lactose intolerant and love chocolate so gelato isn't something that I can indulge in often but they make an stunning chocolate sorbetto at Bella! You would never be able to tell the difference. They use fresh ingredients and often have new flavours everyday (I know because my wife and I have been there 6 times in the last 10 days). They usually only make about a gallon of one flavour at a time. That way it's almost always guaranteed fresh.

Recommended flavours to try: Lemon-basil sorbetto, Chocolate sorbetto, Caramel-Sea salt gelato (sounds weird but a definate must-try), and Pistachio gelato (my wife's pick)

First the positives: The food was good. It is definitely good food and definitely a decent value....But these are the only positives.

Last night we had my sister-in-law's birthday dinner here (party of 9) and the service was atrocious! It took around 30 minutes after we ordered to get our first dish and when the food did come, it all came at once. We barely had any space to put our tea cups! No one came around to refill our teapots. And they delivered the wrong dishes to our table twice!

Lastly, when my father-in-law tried to get the bill, he must've tried to flag someone down for about 15 mintues. All 5 waitresses/waiters in the place must've walked by us at least once. There was even one that came to clear our table but didn't bring the bill or go get the bill for us! Finally after we got the bill settled, as we were leaving the waitress has the audacity to chase us out the restaurant and into the parking lot saying "Was there a mistake in your payment?" and "That's not enough tip". What really pissed me off about this is that I (6' 1") was walking right behind my wife (5') and my sister-in-law (5' 5") was walking in front of my wife as we were leaving the restaurant and she "strategically" went to talk to my wife about this probably thinking that she was easy to pick on.

I can honestly say, even if they were handing out money......I don't think we'll ever return!
