No so much. Donburi was terriyaki chicken
Submitted Saturday, January 8, 2011 - 7:14pm [Dine in]

I went there for lunch today and had the Roll Sushi and Donburi for $7.50. Are you kidding me? It was teriyaki chicken and a pile of rice with some sauce. Fair enough people make it different ways, but this was friggin' terriyaki chicken!!!!!!

When we asked if there was something wrong with our order. We were told that what we might have had before was from the Mall. The Mall would have been better. I googled "donburi" and the all had onions with egg. I remember making this one time - not hard, onions stewed with mirin and soy sauce. It just takes time is all. Felt ripped off. The roll was ok.

Was there last night - was really hungry and my visiting parents has sushi the night before. Was reccommended by the Mayaysian Tourism office to go there. I got more than I paid for I figure. $10 for the buffet. 12 different items, Nice staff, it is a hole in the wall, but it was tasty, fresh, and I thought well developed flavors. Maybe not as good as before as some have said, but I liked it. My parents liked it too. Yes Im sure if you have been to malaysia it might not be the best rendang or noodles, but I loved it.

I have been there only a few times - always drink water, always use the coupon, and have had no issues. He floats around and flips the tables fast. I figure rent is high downtown! I could see him being a jerk though, but have never seen it. Just like a Seinfeld episode to be turned away for not tipping. I mean tasty food (sounds like it is not authentic), great potions, and a half off coupon and you're set.
