As I am not into all you can eat buffet but my co-worker drag me to this small restaurant. I was really surprised by the price point of view $8.95 are you kidding!!!
We were there at 12.30 and the place was almost full. They had dal, which was not heavy at all also mutter panner with few carrots in it perfectly blended.
My friend did not touch the veggies as he was hanker after butter chicken and chilli fish.
Service was very attentive as I notice they serve rotis not naan .So I asked can I get naan the server told us they focus more on homestyle cooking, and naan is not a staple when peoplein india eat at home. She was not wrong the food was light and no cream at all. As we were at the end of the meal, she brought us a tawa naan. I did not eat it as I know it has lot of raising elements in it.
I was feeling bad while paying as the previous reviewer …..WE ALL STOLE FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

It was a special day for us and we could not think any where other than going to vijs.So mentally we got prepare to wait for 45 mins and so we did .But the snacks never stop coming ,those carom seeds puris were excellect.
I don’t know who trains those servers very knowledgeable even with a other cuisine.
We had mutton kebab with Bengali curry …amazing even your body will feel it.
As for entrée we ordered spot prawns and Rajasthani goat curry. No complains but really wonder how he gets boneless goat .
About the ambience it always get better when the restaurant are full .
Oh for sure we will be back as we know how much passion vijs have.
When you choose the best you need to pay price.

We went to thai house on us/Canada hockey night, it was a quite night for them. As they told me with all parking restriction during Olympic people order delivery more than dine in. We started with chicken satays wich was really good as my daughter said it was best she had.
The server knew was we will like. I was impressed by his knowledge about desi people .we had new style pad thai and green beans with prawns . This is the third time we are having this dish and always consistent with crispiness.
As we went late and we were only table there they never rushed us. For three of us with drinks $ 72 .
About the ambience you can see a part of downtown, but never understood why the play 103.9 QMFM .That is my favourite station but I do not want to listen to the commercial while having dinner outside.
We will be back soon.
