Horrible Service + Food +Good Music
Submitted Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 1:41pm [Dine in]

The review title says it all. THe ambiance was certainly nice with live music playing in the background. However, the positives end there.

The food is overpriced, and to make matters worst, it tastes horrible. I ordered a spinach chicken pizza, and boy it was probably the worst i've eaten. The superstore no-name brand ones are another notch better than their's. My girlfriend ordered the fettucini alfredo, which was equally horrible. 1/4 of the pasta was undercooked (still crunchy when i tried chewing), sauce was underwhelmingly average.

At the end of the dinner service, we just wanted to get out of there. We handed in our credit card, and proceeded to wait 20 minutes before a waitress informed us that the card machine was offline, and they were working on getting it back up. We immediately offered to pay cash, only to be rejected by the bar-lady telling us "the machine is being fixed, and it'll be up and running real soon" with an extremely impatient tone.

All in all, I would never come back, and would advice all to stay away from this craphole.

Chef's Sushi All The Way
Submitted Wednesday, February 11, 2009 - 5:55pm [Dine in]

I've been here a couple of times during lunch hours. Usually a pretty good crowd so you may have to wait a little.

Tried the dinner combination the 1st time, where you can choose three items off a list they have. I found it was ok for 10$, filled me but the taste wasn't really there.

Went again a couple nights ago, and tried their special chef sushi this time. I have to say, I was blown away by how much tastier they were in comparison to their cali roll and chicken teriyaki roll (or other typical rolls). If you like japanese mayo, be sure to try their special rolls, as they're unique with up to...20 different choices?

The service was OK, took forever to wave anyone down for tea. The spacing is nice for a small restaurant.

Will definitely revisit for the chef sushi.

Good Food, Great Ambience

Visited this place via good recommendations from a couple of friends. From the outside looking in, it seems like a dingy restaurant located just underneath/around the Best Western. Once I walked in, the experience was much different with bright lights and an unique modern decor for a Chinese restaurant. Tables were evenly spaced so I didnt fill like I was packed in a can of sardines.

The menu had a wide selection of chinese/canto/taiwanese/shanghai foods. Finally settled on the fatty pork w/ preserved veggies, sirloin cubes w/ pepper & garlic (forget name of dish, but freaking delicious), clams with squash (pricey, but quite yummy), followed by 'fried milk' as dessert. Overall the food was really good, though on the pricier side.

Service was also good, tea was refilled as needed, wasn't ever a need to ever wave anyone down more than once to get something.

I'd recommend anyone to come, and will be a repeat customer myself.
