Really Disappointed
Submitted Monday, September 29, 2008 - 4:09am [Dine in]

Decided to go back to this restaurant with a friend after a Chinese friend had introduced me to Dim Sum. I decided to take my friend and two children with me.
The food was pretty good and the children quite liked what they ate which was good since it was their first time. However, the experience became disappointing after many of the people with the carts would just walk by our table and we would have to flag them down to get food. The rest of the meal was okay until the bill came.

These people claim that the dishes are 2.75 but we were charged $22 for "dimsum" and then other dishes were charged as much as $6.75. We didn't understand why they would sometimes walk right by the table and at other times would put dishes right on the table even if we didn't want them.

The most insulting part was that they charged us $3 per person for tea! We ended up paying $12 for a pot of jasmine tea!!!!!!!!!! When I mentioned this to the man who took our money he wouldn't look me in the face and waved it off and said "I give you a deal next time you come". Since every Chinese and Japanese restaurant I have ever been to has given me tea for free this man doesn't have to worry as I will never be going back and will be spreading the word so that others don't get ripped off as well!

Do not eat here

Decided to go to Shark Club for a drink with a friend. We didn't want to wait for 45 min at the Milestones across the street so we decided to go to the Shark Club across the street. What a mistake.

We sat at a table and waited for 10 min for our server to come and offer us drinks. Unfortunately there is no drink menu but we ordered some anyway. We also ordered food and both the drinks and food came within a reasonable time, however the person who brought our food told us that it would be a few minutes before the guacamole would be brought to the table. We waited for 20 and when still no guacamole came I got up and wandered the restaurant until I found our server. I asked for napkins (which also wasn't brought) and when she brought them we asked for the guacamole. After waiting for another 20 min it finally came. Unfortunately for us it was frozen. I then wandered around trying to find our server again and when I found her she told us that all of the guacamole was like that so I ordered another salsa and sour cream. We then waited 35 min for this to come. After that we decided to finish and leave. We were charged for the extra salsa and sour cream and when we complained our server told us that it wasn't her fault that the food was so poor. When we complained about the service she again told us that it wasn't her fault because the food runners didn't do their job properly. We asked to see the manager but as he was bartending he wasn't able to talk to us. We paid and left.

I will never eat at another Shark Club again.
